GUCCI

The Gucci brand, established in the early 20th century in Florence, first specialized in saddles and leather goods. It's iconic bamboo-handled leather bag debuted in 1947—preceding the brand trademark in 1950--and featured the original red-striped webbing and saddle girth. Durable, tumultuous and strong, Gucci was revitalized in 2000 by Tom Ford and infused by the vision of creative director Frida Giannini in 2004.
