Oriental Fresh A promise of freedom
Top Note
ORANGE BLOSSOM: Extraction of the flowers of the bitter orange tree produces orange blossom absolute. Distillation, meanwhile, produces neroli essence. A key ingredient of oriental fragrances, orange blossom is also used to accentuate certain fruity notes in floral compositions. It reveals its full opulence in the heart notes of Pure Poison and brings its very singular quality to the top notes of Fahrenheit 32.
Heart Note
VETIVER: Native to India and Indonesia, but also found in Haiti and Reunion, vetiver is a perennial plant whose fragrant substances are contained in its roots. The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation. The lingering scent of vetiver is used in woody, chypre and oriental compositions. Vetiver brings its daring and sophistication to the dry-down of Eau Sauvage, Higher Energy and Dior Homme, and its free spirit to the heart notes of Fahrenheit 32.
Base Note
VANILLA: The white flowers of the vanilla plant produce a fruit that reaches maturity after eight to nine months. The pods are harvested before they are fully ripe, then undergo a process of maturation lasting 34 months. Their fragrance develops and vanilla crystals are formed, which have a sweet, spicy scent. Serene and sensual, vanilla forms the dry-down of Dune, Tendre Poison, Hypnotic Poison, Dior Addict eau de parfum, Fahrenheit 32 and Pure Poison elixir.
